According to their Shift Happens wiki page, the video originally started out as a PowerPoint presentation for a faculty meeting in August 2006 at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, United States. The presentation “went viral” on the Web in February 2007 and, as of June 2007, had been seen by at least 5 million online viewers.

Today the old and new versions of the online presentation have been seen by at least 20 million people, not including the countless others who have seen it at conferences, workshops, training institutes, and other venues.

A Conservative Pundit Turns 14 http://blog.colwin.com/index.php/2009/03/08/a-conservative-pundit-turns-14/ http://blog.colwin.com/index.php/2009/03/08/a-conservative-pundit-turns-14/#comments Sun, 08 Mar 2009 21:36:21 +0000 admin http://bcolwin.wordpress.com/?p=72 I’m sure we’re going to hear a lot more from 14 year-old Jonathan Krohn, who was a featured speaker at last weekend’s Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington and profiled in the Fashion & Style section of The New York Times a few days ago.  (Interesting editorial decision to place the story in that section.)

Perhaps the most amusing line, or the most prescient, from the profile in the Times was when he said “Barack Obama is the most left-wing president in my lifetime.”  Considering the only other presidents during his 14 years have been Bill Clinton and George Bush, that would certainly be accurate.  Though I wouldn’t be surprised if he’ll be saying that for many, many years to come.

Regardless of his political opinions, I believe he deserves to have his voice heard more than other pundits.  Simply because he’s likely to end up footing the bill for Obama’s economic “stimulus” package.
